Terms of Service

Helios is a monitoring and advisory tool that models dust accumulation on photovoltaic panels, estimates energy losses, and recommends cleaning schedules. It does not control or operate any physical equipment.

Soiling estimates are computed from meteorological and air-quality data and are inherently approximate. Use them as guidance, not as a guarantee of energy production.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your data and cannot be undone.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for others.
• Upload data you do not have the right to share.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used in bad faith.

Some features require a paid subscription. Paid access is currently granted manually — contact us at hello@pvhelios.com to enquire. Pricing and payment terms will be confirmed before any charge is made.

We do not store payment card details. Billing, where applicable, is handled by Stripe and subject to their terms.

Your inverter data, system configuration, and usage analytics are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties.

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Soiling estimates are advisory — not a substitute for professional energy assessment or inverter monitoring by qualified installers.

To the extent permitted by law, Helios and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email before any material change takes effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
